Everything We Know About Path of Exile Delirium Cluster Jewels

Path of Exile 3.10 Delirium has been launched, it brings a lot of new features, and especially important, it introduces a new gem, cluster jewels, used to place on the passive skill tree and expand the path. Since it’s a debut, here, we list everything we know about the Path of Exile Delirium Cluster Jewels.

What Are Cluster Jewels?

It is one of these newly added POE items in Delirium expansion to expand the passive tree and add new minor nodes, notables, and keystones. And the Cluster Jewel is divided into three variations, Small, Medium and Large, based on the number of passives the jewel provides, each one is suitable for different sockets. You can socket them into the far outer sockets of the Passive tree, which are being changed into “Cluster Sockets” that can accept these new jewel types. They are being added as part of the 3.10 league “Delirium.”

What Are Cluster Sockets And Where Can I Find Them?

The FAR outer sockets of the passive tree are being replaced by Large Cluster Sockets, these are the ONLY socket types that will accept Cluster Jewels. Large and Medium Cluster Jewels can also add Medium and Small Cluster Sockets respectively. As for what Jewel types each Cluster Socket accepts, please refer to this list:

• Large Cluster Socket: Any Jewel in the game.

• Medium Cluster Socket: All jewels in the game EXCEPT Large Cluster Jewels

• Small Cluster Socket: All jewels in the game EXCEPT Large and Medium Cluster Jewels

How Can I Obtain Cluster Jewels?

Cluster Jewels can drop from any monster affected by the Delirium Fog.

Size and Crafting

There are a total of three sizes of Cluster Jewel, Small, Medium and Large, each with a different focus.

• As for crafting, each jewel of each size is also different in terms of cost.

• Large Cluster Jewel: 2-3 Notables + 2 sockets

• Medium Cluster Jewel: 2 Notables + 1-2 sockets

• Small Cluster Jewel: so common to craft easily

Each jewel can have up to two prefixes and two suffixes, choosing your favorite prefix or suffix for your jewels based on these rules:

• Prefix-A: the lower weight of the two prefixes

• Prefix-B: the higher weight of the two

• If they are the same weight, it doesn’t matter which one.

• Suffix: A notable for a large jewel, while a passive bonus if medium.

Item Levels

For different size jewels, there are also different and suitable items levels of notables.

• Large Cluster Jewel: Best Level Item 75, it guarantees that you are able to get 3 notables and 1-2 jewels sockets, the passive effects are already just the way of crafting a good jewel, on the contrary, even though the item level is still increasing, it just adds more mods, but not reduce the nodes to cluster jewels notables.

• Medium Cluster Jewel: No higher than Level Item 67, it’s available to get all the notables and jewel sockets, which also blocks the second and highest tier of small passive effects while saving much time.

• Small Cluster Jewel: Just reach Level Item 84 to get 1 notable, reducing the tiers of these mods and the potential of the jewel.

Tip, No need to spend more time improving the level, just choosing the lowest Levels to meet the requirements.

Passive Skill Amount

For large and medium Cluster Jewels, it is appropriate to choose the lowest amount of passive skills, as the jewel itself and notables also count to those passive skills. With more passive skills increase, this will extend the distance between two sockets and cost more time. In general, a cluster jewel with 2 sockets and 2 notables can reduce 1 passive skill.

As for these small cluster jewel, since they are common to get, you can add passive skills at will as the rule, the lowest amount can save more.

What Is The White And Blue Text On The Cluster Jewel?

The white text can be seen on the top of the Jewel and not be modified via any PoE Currency, prompting ‘Adds x Small Passive Skills(X seem to be how many Small Node/Travel Nodes).

While the blue text is the remaining lines on the Cluster Jewel, it can be modified in Small Passives, Notables, Keystones and Sockets through specific POE Orbs, like Chaos, Alteration, Scour and Chance Orbs.

Can Cluster Jewel trade with each other?

Absolutely can, Cluster Jewel is one of POE items. In most cases, it is allowed to trade among players, but from the current situation, the drop rate of Cluster Jewel is not low. Whether buying or selling Cluster Jewel, it will not bring much change in the economy.

Cluster Jewel will be used frequently in Delirium to make the game easier. Compared to Cluster Jewel, more valuable POE Currency may occupy a major position for the in-game economy and never change in multiple expansions.
